Mobile games, played and reviewed

We install, we play, and then we write about it. No press releases, no hype — just what a game feels like after a few real sessions on a normal phone. From puzzles to sprawling RPGs, everything here got our thumbs on the screen first. PWA_allslots — A tidy little collection game that runs straight in the browser and asks almost nothing of your phone. Volcane Spins — A tidy little collection game that runs straight in the browser and asks almost nothing of your phone.

Why us

We actually play

No review goes live until someone on the team has spent real time with the game, not just watched a trailer.

No paid praise

Our opinions aren't for sale. If a game annoyed us, that's in the text, plain and simple.

All genres welcome

Puzzles, RPGs, strategy, racing — we don't stick to one corner. Variety keeps us honest.

Ashvale Chronicle

★★★★★ 4.6

Ashvale Chronicle drops you into a rain-soaked port town and hands you a mismatched crew of four. The story leans dark without being grim for its own sake, and the writing is sharper than most mobile RPGs bother with. I found myself reading the codex entries, which almost never happens.

  • Story and writing that actually hold up
  • Tactical combat that punishes autopilot
  • Progression that respects your time

Questions & answers

How do you choose which games to review?

We pick games we're personally curious about, then try to keep the mix broad across genres so it's not all one thing. Sometimes a reader tip sends us down a rabbit hole, sometimes we just stumble on something interesting in the store. There's no editorial calendar dictating it.

Do you get paid to write positive reviews?

No. We don't take money in exchange for coverage or verdicts, and no developer gets to see a review before it publishes. Our opinions are ours, which is the only reason writing them is worth doing.

Can I suggest a game for you to cover?

Absolutely, we love tips. Drop us an email with the game's name and why you think it's worth a look. We can't promise to cover everything, but we read every suggestion — that's actually how we ended up trying PWA_allslots.

Are there ads on the site?

We may run a few light, non-intrusive ads to help cover hosting, but nothing that follows you around or hijacks the page. Advertising never influences a review or a score. If that ever changes, we'll say so plainly.
