Volcane Spins
PWA_allslots is one of those games that's easier to try than to describe. It's a progressive web app, so there's nothing to download from a store — you open it, it loads, and you're playing within seconds. On my older test phone that alone earned it points, because it never once stuttered or ate the battery.
The loop is simple and calming. You match, arrange and clear tiles across a series of neatly themed screens, chasing a running score and unlocking new layouts as you go. Controls are pure touch: tap and drag, nothing hidden behind menus. It's the kind of thing I ended up opening while waiting for coffee, then again on the bus, without really deciding to.
What I liked most is how honest it is about being a light game. It doesn't beg for your attention with pop-ups every ten seconds. Sessions end cleanly, progress saves on its own, and picking it back up hours later just works. It won't be anyone's game of the year, but as a low-effort, pick-up-and-play distraction it's genuinely pleasant.
